Front seat passenger airbag may activate when turned off
TOYOTA announced a problem with the COROLLA VERSO affecting a total of 19,115 vehicles.
The airbag and seat belt pretensioner ECU system may be incorrectly programmed. Vehicles built from 02/01/2004 to 08/30/2005 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Affected vehicles will be recalled and airbag sensors replaced.
