Front seat anchorage concern

HONDA CR-V recall Sep 2002HONDA announced a problem with the CR-V affecting a total of 8 vehicles.

The front seat anchorage retaining nuts may have been installed improperly. If a collision occurs the seat anchorage may not withstand the collision force.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Replace any vehicle found to have a front seat anchorage that does not comply with the factory specification.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest HONDA dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
