Underbonnet fire concern

JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE and WRANGLER recall Nov 2002JEEP announced a problem with the GRAND CHEROKEE and WRANGLER affecting a total of 1,651 vehicles.

Debris may accumulate on the exhaust manifold. This could lead to an under bonnet fire. Vehicles built from 01/01/2001 to 12/31/2002 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Install an intake/exhaust manifold debris shield.
