IVECO DAILY S2000 Recall

Bolts used to secure steering rack to front axle may fail.

IVECO announced a problem with the DAILY S2000 affecting a total of 21 vehicles.

The possibility exists that the bolts which secure the steering rack to the front axle may be of the incorrect grade 8.8, instead of R10. A situation which may result in failure of the bolts. Vehicles built from 03/01/2006 to 03/31/2006 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. The bolts of recalled vehicles will be checked for compliance with the specification, and changed as necessary.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

ZCFC65A000D301827 to ZCFC358200D306120
