CHRYSLER Wrangler Recall

Braking efficiency may be affected

CHRYSLER announced a problem with the Wrangler affecting a total of 10 vehicles.

Brake pipes at the brake master cylinder may not be to specification and start leaking. A brake fluid leak can increase the vehicle's stopping distance. Vehicles built from 23/4/2010 to 17/5/2010 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the brake pipes.

How to check your car's VIN number - vehicle identification number

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest CHRYSLER dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
