NISSAN announced a problem with the Interstar X70 affecting a total of 271 vehicles.
It has been identified that there is the possibility in the event of an impact, the potential insecurity of the front right hand seat base mounting may result in the seat detaching from the floor, thus affecting occupant safety. Vehicles built from 2/22/2008 to 5/18/2009 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the right hand front seat base brackets welded to the correct specification.
