Possibility that the starter motor wiring loom is incorrectly positioned

PEUGEOT 206 recall Sep 2004PEUGEOT announced a problem with the 206 affecting a total of 1,128 vehicles.

The possibility exists that the starter motor wiring loom has been positioned incorrectly. In consequence, there is a risk that this could cause a short circuit. Vehicles built from 06/01/2004 to 07/13/2004 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall likely to be affected vehicles and correctly fit the wiring loom.
