VAUXHALL announced a problem with the Corsa D affecting a total of 405,690 vehicles.
Due to the insufficient strength of the material used in the brake pedal bearing, it is possible that the bearing could fail when extreme force is applied to it during heavy or extreme braking. Vehicles built from 09/01/2006 to 03/15/2011 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all affected vehicles and replace the brake pedal bearing.
