Engine may cut out

RENAULT Laguna II recall Mar 2002

RENAULT announced a problem with the Laguna II affecting a total of 4,838 vehicles.

Laguna II's fitted with the 1.6 16v engine may cut out and stall at idle/lift off when the air conditioning is switched on. Vehicles built from 10/01/2000 to 06/27/2001 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Rectified by recalibrating the injection computer.
