RENAULT announced a problem with the SCENIC affecting a total of 93,289 vehicles.
It is possible under certain conditions for the seatbelt stalk fixings on the first row of rear seats to become loose. Vehicles built from 02/01/2003 to 12/12/2005 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to remove the bolts retaining the stalks of the affected seatbelts. Thread adhesive is to be applied to the bolts, then the bolts are to be refitted and torqued.
