TOYOTA announced a problem with the Yaris affecting a total of 697 vehicles.
The bolts securing the left and right rear hubs to the axle beam may not have been tightened to the correct torque. In the worse case, the hubs could become loose.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles, check, and tighten the hub fasteners to the specified torque where necessary.
