FIAT Panda, Grande Punto, Bravo and Multipla Recall
Brakes may fail
FIAT announced a problem with the Panda, Grande Punto, Bravo and Multipla affecting a total of 4,804 vehicles.
Due to the possibility of a fault in the production process, the flexible rubber brake hoses may not have been correctly vulcanised. As a consequence, may partially or totally restrict the internal flow of the brake hydraulic fluid. Should this happen, a reduction in efficiency during braking would occur. Vehicles built from 10/12/2007 to 11/14/2007 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the hoses checked to identify if they are within the affected batch. If this is the case, they will be replaced with quality assured items.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest FIAT dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
