FORD Focus 1.6 Diesal with automatic transmission Recall
Risk of fire
FORD announced a problem with the Focus 1.6 Diesal with automatic transmission affecting a total of 600 vehicles.
Due to high road salt usage in winter, the engine cooling fan module may suffer from corrosion and may overheat and ignite. Vehicles built from 9/3/2004 to 25/1/2007 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles to modify wiring loom and to fit water shield to module.
