Brake servo vacuum pipe may crack and leak

VW CADDY recall Jul 2003VW announced a problem with the CADDY affecting a total of 603 vehicles.

The brake servo vacuum supply pipe may crack and leak. This could result in a loss of power assistance and require the driver to apply a lot more force to the brake pedal. Vehicles built from 11/01/2002 to 01/31/2003 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Examine the condition of the vacuum supply pipe and fit an improved quality replacement where necessary.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

WV1zzz9Kz3R516842 to WV1zzz9Kz3R522359
