Spare wheel carrier heat shield could become detached
CITROEN announced a problem with the Berlingo affecting a total of 4,440 vehicles.
The heat shield protecting the spare wheel and carrier may detach because of the vibrations it is subjected to. Vehicles built from 11/1/2007 to 7/31/2008 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to modify the heat shield or where necessary replace the spare wheel carrier which incorporates the heat shield.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest CITROEN dealer
