NISSAN announced a problem with the Cabstar affecting a total of 28 vehicles.
The engine may stall as a result of the crank shaft position sensor wiring harness being incorrectly routed and possibly coming into contact with the blades of the cooling fan. Vehicles built from 7/1/2006 to 6/30/2007 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the wiring harness and re-route or replace the wiring harness as necessary.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest NISSAN dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
