Rear brake pipes could fail resulting in a partial brake system loss.
CHRYSLER announced a problem with the WRANGLER affecting a total of 1,066 vehicles.
It has been identified that, there may be insufficient clearance between the steering shaft and the rear brake pipes. Prolonged contact may result in the pipe becoming holed, resulting in a partial loss of the braking system.
Recalled vehicles will have the brake pipes inspected and replaced if necessary. In every case, an additional retaining clip will be installed.
