SCANIA BUS Omnilink Buses Recall

Short circuit may occur

SCANIA BUS announced a problem with the Omnilink Buses affecting a total of 11 vehicles.

It has been established that the fuse holder mounting screws have been fitted to close to the power supply terminal for the front air conditioning. This could result in a short circuit and in extreme cases a fire. Vehicles built from 12/1/2009 to 3/31/2010 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all affected vehicles and replace the mounting bolts with smaller headed bolts.

How to check your car's VIN number - vehicle identification number

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest SCANIA BUS dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
