IVECO EUROTRAKKER Recall

Steering cylinder clamp bolts will not achieve correct torque

IVECO announced a problem with the EUROTRAKKER affecting a total of 18 vehicles.

It is not possible to obtain the correct torque on the steering ram and cylinder ball joint clamp bolts. Therefore after a certain time it might be possible for the ball joint to become loose on its threads. Vehicles built from 04/05/2004 to 04/06/2004 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected. Replace the nuts and bolts that clamp the ball joints to the ram and cylinder and tighten them to the correct torque.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

WJMJ3JUSSOOC131796 to WJMJ4CSS04C137615

How to check your car's VIN number - vehicle identification number
