CITROEN announced a problem with the C5 affecting a total of 878 vehicles.
The anti lock brake control unit may overheat and cause the footbrake to revert to none anti lock mode. Vehicles built from 01/01/2001 to 07/04/2002 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Check the ABS control unit identification number and replace the control unit where found necessary.

who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
