MERCEDES BENZ Sprinter Recall

Increased brake pedal travel

MERCEDES BENZ announced a problem with the Sprinter affecting a total of 217 vehicles.

It has been identified that subject vehicles have been fitted with an incorrect brake master cylinder. This has the effect of the brake pedal having to travel further before the brakes take effect. Vehicles built from 1/1/2006 to 12/31/2007 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will have the brake master cylinder replaced.
