MERCEDES BENZ SPRINTER Recall

Risk of fire

MERCEDES BENZ announced a problem with the SPRINTER affecting a total of 9 vehicles.

It has been identified that, the lens of the interior lamps located in the air ducts may not conform to specification, under conditions of continuous operation. This may result in an electrical short circuit, and an isolated cable fire. Vehicles built from 1/1/2004 to 12/31/2004 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will have the subject lamps replaced.
