BMW X5 Recall |
Brake fluid may leak |
BMW announced a problem with the X5 affecting a total of 1,887 vehicles.
If a brake fluid leak occurs the brake fluid low level warning may be given too late. Vehicles built from 2/5/2007 to 4/30/2007 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the serial number of the brake servo and where necessary replace the cap for the expansion tank which includes the warning switch.

who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
