Incorrect gear and steering knuckle fitted

VAUXHALL ASTRA H recall Mar 2005VAUXHALL announced a problem with the ASTRA H affecting a total of 530 vehicles.

As a result of an incorrect steering gear and steering knucle combination being fitted during manufacture, the front tyres may contact the lower front suspension arms when the steering is turned on to a full lock. Vehicles built from 12/01/2004 to 12/01/2004 are at risk.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest VAUXHALL dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
