PEUGEOT announced a problem with the 407 & 607 affecting a total of 1,186 vehicles.
Residual low pressure persists in the power braking vacuum circuit which may result in the loss of power assistance when braking Vehicles built from 3/1/2004 to 5/31/2007 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles to fit a calibrated air vent in the vacuum circuit.
