Accelerator cable concern.

RENAULT Clio recall Aug 2001RENAULT announced a problem with the Clio affecting a total of 105,883 vehicles.

The accelerator cable may break and cause a sudden loss of engine power. Vehicles built from 01/01/1998 to 12/28/1999 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles and fit a modified accelerator cable.
