ALFA ROMEO 166 AND 147 Recall

Possible fuel leak

ALFA ROMEO 166 AND 147 recall May 2005ALFA ROMEO announced a problem with the 166 AND 147 affecting a total of 865 vehicles.

A fuel leak may result due to cracking of the recirculation pipe flange on the fuel tank, when the tank is filled to the maximum. Vehicles built from 05/10/2004 to 09/10/2004 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will have the fuel tank inspected for cracks and replaced if necessary.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

ZAR93600000089617 to ZAR93600000094628
ZAR93700003200424 to ZAR93700003225276
