TOYOTA announced a problem with the Lexus IS 250 & GS300 affecting a total of 3,921 vehicles.
It has been identified that due to improper orientation of the fuel line's seam weld, a section of fuel line within the engine bay could develop a crack, that in the worst case could permit fuel to leak. Vehicles built from 6/3/2005 to 12/2/2005 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject fuel lines replaced.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest TOYOTA dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
