SUZUKI announced a problem with the SF Swift affecting a total of 26,672 vehicles.
Corrosion of the front suspension struts may cause the steering knuckle to become detached from the front suspension strut leading to loss of directional control. Vehicles built from 1/10/1997 to 1/10/2002 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary replace the front suspension struts.
Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:
TSMMA******320947 to TSMMA******842813 TSMMA******316394 to TSMMA******908619 TSMMA******317151 to TSMMA******908872
