Reprogramming of abs ecm

KIA RIO, CARENS & SEDONA recall Nov 2003KIA announced a problem with the RIO, CARENS & SEDONA affecting a total of 2,638 vehicles.

An ABS programming error could cause reduced braking force at speeds under 40 kmh Vehicles built from 11/27/2002 to 03/19/2003 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles and reprogramme ABS,ECM and RDM data

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest KIA dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
