JEEP Wrangler Recall

Manufacturers weight label is incorrect

JEEP Wrangler recall May 2009JEEP announced a problem with the Wrangler affecting a total of 107 vehicles.

It has been identified that during manufacturer, an incorrect label indicating the maximum gross (GCW) carrying weight was installed. The current label indicates a maximum GCW of 6,085 kg however, the vehicle was certified to 6,005 kg only.

Recalled vehicles will have the subject label replaced with one indicting the correct GCW.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest JEEP dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
