CITROEN C5 Recall

Fuel leaking into engine

CITROEN C5 recall Feb 2006CITROEN announced a problem with the C5 affecting a total of 257 vehicles.

It has been identified that a potential fault in the engine management system could cause an internal fuel leak via one or more of the fuel injectors after switching off. This would result in a failure to restart because of excess fuel present in the inlet manifold or cylinders. Vehicles built from 07/27/2004 to 02/25/2005 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will have the engine management unit software upgraded.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

VF7******76600913 to VF7******76666298
