FIAT Scudo Recall

Accelerator may stick

FIAT announced a problem with the Scudo affecting a total of 158 vehicles.

It has been identified that the possibility exists, that the accelerator pedal's rotation pin may not have been inserted correctly. In this condition, the accelerator pedal might stick. Vehicles built from 1/1/2008 to 4/30/2008 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will have the accelerator pedal checked for the presence of the pin. Should the pin be found to be missing, the accelerator pedal will be changed.
