Parking brake may not be effective |
MERCEDES BENZ BUS announced a problem with the Sprinter affecting a total of 1 vehicles.
The parking brake may become ineffective. It has been identified that the threaded portion of the brake adjuster, for the parking brake, may break under load, due to the wall thickness being too slight.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected, to replace the parking brake adjuster.
