TOYOTA announced a problem with the COROLLA affecting a total of 1 vehicles.
The front passenger airbag inflator module check valve pin is missing in the affected vehicle. In the event of airbag activation, the partition which separates the inflator and the bag may not be properly broken, resulting in insufficient pressure to properly deploy the airbag. This could result in injury to the front seat passenger in the event of a frontal impact. Vehicles built from 10/25/2000 to 10/25/2000 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Replace the inflator module.
