MAN announced a problem with the TGL & TGM affecting a total of 4 vehicles.
The steering column propshaft coupling may be connected too far beyond the toothing/splined section of the steering gear shaft. If ignored, this has the potential to affect the directional control of the vehicle.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the affected vehicles and check for misalignment. If found, replace steering shaft and check for damage on the steering gear shaft. Replace if damaged.
