THE vehicle may not be correctly fitted with a rear seat anchorage point strengthener
PEUGEOT announced a problem with the 307 affecting a total of 150 vehicles.
It is a possibility that, vehicles may not be correctly fitted with a rear seat anchorage point strengthener. If the strengthener is not fitted, the vehicle will not comply with the defined retention criteria in the case of an accident. Vehicles built from 06/07/2003 to 06/19/2003 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will be inspected for the presence of the seat anchorage strengthener. In cases where it is not in place, the vehicle will be returned to specification.
