CHRYSLER WRANGLER Recall

Vehicle may stall

CHRYSLER WRANGLER recall Dec 2006CHRYSLER announced a problem with the WRANGLER affecting a total of 62 vehicles.

The clutch pedal push rod may break causing the clutch function to be lost. Vehicles built from 01/01/2005 to 09/30/2006 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the clutch pedal push rod, plastic spacer, foam seal and interlock switch cover.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest CHRYSLER dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
