RENAULT announced a problem with the Laguna II Sports Tourer affecting a total of 226 vehicles.
The towing ball mounting panel may flex under load and eventually crack, causing the towing ball to become insecure. Vehicles built from 11/27/2000 to 12/25/2000 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles to fit towing ball mounting panel reinforcement kit.
