Possible unintended acceleration

RENAULT LAGUNA II 1.6 16V (K4M) recall Sep 2003RENAULT announced a problem with the LAGUNA II 1.6 16V (K4M) affecting a total of 2,198 vehicles.

The engine may intermittently accelerate by itself and/or suffer instability of the idle speed. Vehicles built from 01/01/2001 to 07/31/2002 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Reprogramme the fuel injection computer software.
