NISSAN announced a problem with the PATHFINDER AND NAVARA affecting a total of 5,107 vehicles.
Insufficient torque may have been applied to the propshaft securing bolts during production, and this could lead to vibration. If the concern is not rectified, the propshaft may detach from the vehicle. Vehicles built from 02/01/2005 to 09/30/2005 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Affected vehicles will be recalled and inspected, if necessary the propshaft securing bolts will be replaced.
