Tyre valve may fail |
AUTO SLEEPERS LTD announced a problem with the Nuevo, Broadway,Symbol, Warwick, Berkshire, Zeta, Sigma, Executive and Talisman affecting a total of 80 vehicles.
The tyre valves may fail as they are rated to 70psi and the maximum operating pressure for the tyre is 80psi. Note: the recommended operating pressures for the tyres when fitted to the vehicles in question are between 50 and 70psi. It is only when the tyre pressure is over 70psi that a failure might occur. Vehicles built from 01/01/2006 to 12/31/2009 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the rubber valves with higher rated metal bolt in valves.
