PORSCHE 911 TURBO, GT2 & GT3 Recall

Possible fire risk

PORSCHE 911 TURBO, GT2 & GT3 recall Nov 2003PORSCHE announced a problem with the 911 TURBO, GT2 & GT3 affecting a total of 303 vehicles.

A connector bolt may be loose which could cause a steering fluid leak and loss of power assistance to the steering and and on the 911 Turbo to the power assistance to the clutch. Leaking fluid may ignite if it comes into contact with the exhaust system.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Vehicles must be recalled and the connector bolts must be tightened with the correct torque.
