FIAT announced a problem with the PANDA DIESEL affecting a total of 919 vehicles.
Fuel delivery pipe adjacent to air filter may chafe. This, in time, could lead to leakage of fuel in the engine compartment and a consequent risk of fire. Vehicles built from 7/1/2005 to 1/31/2006 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the fuel delivery pipe and where necessary replace the pipe containment channel.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest FIAT dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
