TOYOTA announced a problem with the AVENSIS affecting a total of 31 vehicles.
The crimping connector of the inflator cartridge may be incorrectly assembled with the curtain airbag on certain vehicles. In the event of airbag activation full deployment of the curtain shield cannot be guaranteed due to this condition. Vehicles built from 03/08/2003 to 03/17/2003 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Replace the curtain shield airbag.

who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
