JEEP CHEROKEE Recall

Possible separation of front suspension ball joint

JEEP CHEROKEE recall Jun 2004JEEP announced a problem with the CHEROKEE affecting a total of 7,129 vehicles.

Water may enter the front suspension ball joints, this can cause the ball joint to corrode and separate.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Replace any corroded ball joints and fit dirt/water shields to all vehicles.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest JEEP dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
