HONDA announced a problem with the Jazz affecting a total of 171,372 vehicles.
Water and other liquids may enter the driver's side power window switch and may cause damage, switch failure, overheating and potentially a fire. Vehicles built from 7/11/2001 to 7/31/2008 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles, check switch and wiring, if damaged, replace and then fit external cover to switch to prevent water ingress.
