HONDA announced a problem with the FR-V affecting a total of 546 vehicles.
The securing bolts for the water pump pulley may loosen and eventually fail, which would lead to, in the first instance, failure of the steering power assistance and if driven on the vehicle will overheat and stall. Vehicles built from 1/7/2008 to 23/6/2010 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the water pump pulley bolts with modified bolts.
Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:
JHMBE1***8S205452 to JHMBE1***8S206421 JHMBE1***9S200001 to JHMBE1***9S202524
