Lighting harness could overheat resulting in loss of some vehicle functions
PEUGEOT announced a problem with the 308 - 5 door affecting a total of 13 vehicles.
It has been identified that use of a non standard interior lighting harness may cause excessive current flow, and possible overheating and damage to a control unit This can result in the loss of a number of vehicle functions. Vehicles built from 9/16/2008 to 9/17/2008 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject wiring harness modified.

who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
