FORD Transit with ASM (Automatic Shift Manual ) transmission recall Apr 2002

FORD announced a problem with the Transit with ASM (Automatic Shift Manual ) transmission affecting a total of 70 vehicles.

The gearbox may incorrectly shift into a lower gear during normal driving. Vehicles built from 11/01/2001 to 03/05/2002 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles and reprogramme the transmission control unit.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

1D 1E 2C 2K 2D to 0
